It is Times Like These when we sometimes forget that celebrities are just regular people. But Here We Are, forced to face a reality that some fans found shocking when Dave Grohl, the legendary frontman of the Foo Fighters and former Nirvana drummer, shared a Monkey Wrench that had been thrown into his marriage.

In a post on Instagram, the 55-year-old rock icon revealed that he had become the father of a baby girl outside his 21-year marriage to former model Jordyn Blum. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” Grohl wrote, acknowledging that he was feeling a bit Low he continued, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”

While some fans might think this marks Grohl’s start on a Long Road to Ruin and that there is No Way Back, the messaging in his post seems to suggest he is saying, “I’ll Stick Around” and that he no longer has the desire to play The Pretender.

This is a call for people to recognize that despite being a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Dave Grohl is not above or Under You. These Days, when it comes to icons' personal lives, we act as though they are on the other side of The Glass.
