Monday Night Doubleheader: NFL Picks for the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
If you came here looking for a pick for the Chargers vs. Cardinals game, you can stop reading now. I’ll be boycotting that game this evening due to its placement on ESPN Plus… which I do not have. But if you want a no-research pick, take the Chargers laying a point. I believe in Jim Harbaugh, and you should too.
Baltimore @ Tampa Bay
The Ravens have looked like a juggernaut since their surprising loss to the Raiders. Last week, their game against the Bengals was an offensive explosion and an absolute blast to watch. The Buccaneers have also surprised a lot of people this season with their winning record and their ability to put up points.
Ravens games this season have averaged a combined score of 54.3, while the Baker-led Bucs have played to an average total of 53.1. These averages are slightly inflated, with both teams having one game where the total score exceeded 78 points. Tonight’s total is set at 50, which is interesting because 50% of the games played by these two teams have surpassed that number.
Tampa Bay’s strength is their passing game, and the Ravens’ secondary has shown some vulnerability. I expect Tampa Bay to score tonight, and Baltimore’s offense to keep up by performing like the juggernaut we have seen. Tonight should see plenty of points in prime time.
The Pick: Over 50 (-110)
